shelvd.dev), including our hosted MCP endpoints and reminders.01.Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, visiting the site or calling our hosted MCP endpoints you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old. If you use Shelvd for an organization, you confirm you can bind it to these Terms.
02.The service
Shelvd provides hosted idea parking, reminders and an MCP server for tools like Claude, Cursor and Codex. The local MCP server published at our GitHub repository is governed by its own open-source LICENSE; these Terms do not override it.
03.Accounts
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for your account and for every tool or MCP client you authorize through OAuth, including what those clients do with your credentials. You can revoke access at any time, or email connect@shelvd.dev and we will help.
04.Plans and billing
When paid checkout is available: subscriptions renew automatically; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; refunds are at our discretion unless the law requires them; we give 30 days' notice of price changes; prices exclude taxes. Features marked “coming soon” or experimental are not promised.
05.Your content
You own what you park. You grant us a limited license to host, store, encrypt and process it only to run the service for you. You are responsible for what you store.
06.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- store or send unlawful content;
- attack, overload or denial-of-service the service;
- probe or access other people's accounts or data;
- circumvent rate limits;
- resell or sublicense API access; or
- scrape the service.
07.Notifications
Reminders by web push and email are best effort. Delivery depends on your device, browser, network and third-party push and email services. Do not rely on Shelvd for safety-critical, medical, legal-deadline or other time-critical needs.
08.Third-party services
Shelvd works with Google sign-in, MCP clients, browser push services and (later) a payment processor. We do not control them and are not responsible for their outages, changes or terms.
09.Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is and may change. We may add, change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice before removing features from a paid plan.
10.Termination
You can stop using Shelvd at any time and ask us to delete your data at connect@shelvd.dev. We may suspend or end access for breach or abuse. If we end a non-abusive account, you have 30 days to request an export of your data.
11.Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you use the free plan. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12.Indemnity
If your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms causes a claim against us, you will cover reasonable resulting losses.
13.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Please contact us first at connect@shelvd.dev so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
14.Changes to these Terms
We date every revision above and will notify you of material changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use Shelvd after a change means you accept it.
